About Our Company
Transvaal Bag Co. opened its doors in 1963 by Mr. Gouws. Marie & Eddie Engelbrecht, who has been working for the company for quite some time acquired the business in 1985.
With their dedication to the business, Mr & Mrs Engelbrecht took the company to new heights where they managed to increase the company turnover to more than double in only 3 years. The Engelbrechts started selling bags and included printing on polypropylene bags in 1995. The first printer was purchased in 1998 and after 56 years of business in Pretoria West, the company relocated to a new shop in Gezina, Pretoria – all your favourite products & services, just on different premises.
Although the company does not manufacture bags anymore, we are one of SA’s most reliable suppliers of quality new and used products.
